Sleepy Hollow is an ideal base for visiting the many attractions and sights Cornwall has to offer. Charlestown is 2 miles away and is home to three tall ships that have appeared in many films. There is also a shipwreck and heritage centre where the history of Charlestown can be seen.
Fowey and Mevagissey harbours are within 5 miles of Sleepy Hollow and are full of gift shops, pubs and restaurants. The coastal views are wonderful and there are many beautiful beaches and coves around Cornwall that have been sculptured by the sea.
Heligan Gardens is near Mevagissey and has been restored to its full beauty after it had been lost for many years, there are various gardens to explore and a chance to see some rare and exotic plants.
Cornish Coast
Explore the beautiful coast surrounding Cornwall by walking along the cliff top paths and watch the sun set behind the sea. A wonderful experience.
Tintagel is situated on the north coast of Cornwall about 40 minutes from Sleepy Hollow, and is thought to be the home of King Arthur.
Tintagel is a pretty little village with shops of all kinds, there is a king Arthur exhibition hall and many gift shops, the walks along the cliffs are a must if visiting Tintagel.
Here are a few pictures of Tintagel.
